Irrespective of whether you run a domestic boiler or a more industrial boiler and heating system, at Penguin, we strongly recommend that you service your boiler annually to keep it in tip top condition and operating to peak performance. This also helps to ensure against Carbon Monoxide leaks and prolong its lifespan. Regular maintenance can also help prevent a complete system breakdown which can prove to be expensive and is never a welcomed moment we plan for. You should also have a gas safety check done on all gas fittings and appliances every year.
Think of a boiler service like car service. Without regular servicing, your car will become unreliable, uneconomic to run and even unsafe to use as parts start to ware and even fail. Like a car, the same applies to a boiler and other home appliances.
Just think how often you use your car. Now think about how often you use your boiler - every time you run a bath, wash your hands with warm water and each time you flick the thermostat up a notch to heat your home.
When we service a boiler a Gas Safe safety certificate and flue gas analyser print out report will be issued. Both of these will be signed by our engineer and yourself, giving you reassurance that the job has been performed in accordance to "Gas Safe" standards.
We understand that most people are not available during office hours therefore we provide an early morning and evening appointment system.
